UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (6-19, 3-11) welcome Minnesota (19-6, 8-5) to the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. There will be a pregame clinic held by Penn State women's teams at the Multisport Facility beginning at 11:30 a.m. to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. It's also a Subway Full Court 4 Pack game where fans can get four tickets, one voucher for four 6" subs and four 21 oz. fountain drinks at any of the seven State College Subway locations for just $40.

TICKET PROMOTIONS

  • The game is a White Out, so be sure to wear white on Sunday.

    KIDS FUNZONE

  • The Lady Lions will have their Kids Funzone on the concourse for Sunday's game.
  • The Funzone will feature a face painter, airbrush tattoos, caricature artist and a create-a-station.

    NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY PREGAME CLINIC

  • The Lady Lions are teaming with several other Penn State athletics teams to hold an All-Sports Clinic on Sunday, Feb. 15 as part of the National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) celebration.
  • The clinic is open to boys and girls that are in eighth grade or younger and will take place on Sunday, Feb. 15 in the Multisport Facility off of Dauer Drive, adjacent to the Bryce Jordan Center, prior to the Lady Lions' game against Minnesota at 2 p.m.
  • Clinic registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the clinic will begin at 11:30 a.m. with an autograph session at 12:30.
  • Clinic attendees will receive a free ticket to the Lady Lion game and the opportunity to purchase $5 tickets for their parents.
  • Fans should park in Lot 44, as they would for the Lady Lion game, and enter the Multisport Building through the door that faces Lot 44.
  • Representatives from the women's fencing, women's volleyball, women's ice hockey, field hockey, women's lacrosse, women's gymnastics and the Lionettes will participate in the clinic.
  • Reservations are encouraged, but not required. Please send an RSVP to psuladylions@gmail.com.

  • No backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during varsity athletic events, other athletic and non-athletic events at this venue.
  • No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted.

    LAST TIME OUT

  • Keke Sevillian tied the game at 57-57 with 9:42 to play, but the Spartans scored eight straight points to retake the lead and hold on for a 74-67 decision over the Lady Lions.
  • Freshman Lindsay Spann continued her impressive rookie campaign with 13 points for her 21st double-digit scoring performance of the season.
  • Spann posted career highs with seven assists and seven rebounds versus the Spartans.
  • Sophomore Kaliyah Mitchell posted her ninth double-digit scoring performance of the season with 13 tallies to go along with six rebounds and a steal.
  • Another 10-point, five-rebound effort from Candice Agee highlighted the post play for Penn State. The junior moved past the 400 career point plateau in the game and ended the night with 402 career tallies, the most by an active Lady Lion.
  • Sophomore Sierra Moore handed out six assists and scored 10 points on the night.

    SCOUTING MINNESOTA

  • Despite losing Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year Rachel Banham to an ACL injury, the Golden Gophers are 19-6 overall and 8-5 in Big Ten play.
  • Amanda Zahui B. has stepped up for the Gophers, averaging a double-double via 17.8 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. Zahui B. ranks second in the Big Ten in rebounding.
  • Shae Kelley has been stuffing the stat sheet this season, accounting for 16.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and a team-best 1.6 steals per game.
  • Carlie Wagner rounds out the double-digit scorers for Minnesota with 11.8 tallies per outing, while Shayne Mullaney is second in the Big Ten with a 7.1 assists average.

    ALL-TIME VERSUS THE GOLDEN GOPHERS

  • The Lady Lions are 27-13 all-time against Minnesota, including a 16-3 record in home games against the Golden Gophers.
  • Penn State has won seven of its last nine games against Minnesota.
  • The Lady Lions have won the last four home games against Minnesota.
  • The Lady Lions dropped a 75-64 decision in Minneapolis on Jan. 28.

    LAST TIME VERSUS MINN

  • The Lady Lions came out strong to open the second half to erase a halftime deficit with a 20-3 run, but Minnesota rallied past the Lions for a 75-64 win on Jan. 28.
  • Penn State committed a season-low 11 turnovers, but were burned by the Gophers from three-point range and at the free throw line.
  • Sophomore Peyton Whitted was 7-for-14 from the field en route to a career-high 16 points with six rebounds and a block.
  • Freshman Lindsey Spann also had 16 points to go along with five assists and a steal.
  • Junior Candice Agee continued her solid play with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots, while senior Tori Waldner had a near double-double with nine points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

    AGEE TOPS 400

  • Junior Candice Agee scored 10 points versus Michigan State on Feb. 11 to surpass the 400-point mark for her career.
  • She leads all current Penn State players in caree scoring with 402 points.
  • Additionally, Agee notched her 12th game this season with at least 10 points and 5 rebounds as she ended the night with 10 points and 5 rebounds.
  • Agee also added three blocks against the Spartans to push her career total to 80 swats, making her just the 16th player in school history to reach the 80-block plateau in a career.

    SPANN PACES LIONS

  • Freshman guard Lindsey Spann led the Lady Lions in points, rebounds and assists against Michigan State on Feb. 8.
  • Spann had 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to become the first Lady Lion to lead the team in all three categories since Dara Taylor (22 p, 8 r, 4 a) accomplished the feat against Florida in the NCAA Tournament on March 25, 2014.
  • Spann's seven assists and seven rebounds versus the Spartans are both career highs. Her previous highs were six rebounds vs. Illinois on Jan. 1, 2015 and five assists, which she accomplished four times with the last time coming at Minnesota on Jan. 28, 2015.
  • The 13-point outing was the 21st double-digit scoring effort of the season for Spann.

    SEVILLIAN PERFECT IN LAST TWO

  • Sophomore Keke Sevillian has made her last six field goal attempts, dating back to Feb. 8, at Purdue.
  • Sevillian tied her career-high with three made field goals, going 3-for-3 from the field en route to seven points against Michigan State on Feb. 11.
  • She was also 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw on the way to a career-high 10 points at Purdue on Feb. 8.
  • Sevillian has logged three made field goals on six occasions.

    SPANN MOVES UP FRESHMAN SCORING TOP 10

  • With a team-high 13 points versus Michigan State on Feb. 11, Lindsey Spann moved up two spots on the Penn State's freshman season scoring list.
  • She passed Lisa Shepherd (349; 1997-98) and Tanisha Wright (355; 2001-02) to climb into eight place with her effort against the Spartans.
  • Spann has 359 points in her rookie season.
  • She needs six markers to tie Alex Bentley (365; 2009-10) for seventh.

    PINK ZONE GAME TIME ANNOUNCED

  • The game time for the Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State has been announced.
  • The Lady Lions will take on Wisconsin at 2 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center.
  • This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Lewistown Hospital.

    The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. The Lady Lions have their bye date on Thursday and return to action at Maryland on Monday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. Penn State returns home to face Ohio State on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. for Dollar Dog Night and Faculty/Staff Night. PSU employees will get a free ticket and ability to purchase up to three additional tickets for $5 each.

    Lady Lion Basketball single-game are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets range from $10-17 for adults and seniors and $5-11 for youth (12 and younger). The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game.

    The Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health will be held Sunday, March 1 in the Bryce Jordan Center when the Lady Lions take on Wisconsin at 2 p.m. Last year, the Lady Lions donated a record $310,000 to breast cancer causes. All totaled, the Lady Lions have donated more than $1.135 million for breast cancer research and awareness in the first eight years. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C.
