Postgame Notes vs. Minnesota

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
-Sophomore Alex Harris reached the 100-point milestone with her first basket of the game vs. Minnesota. She ended the game with 101 career points.
-Senior Tori Waldner scored a career-high 16 points against Minnesota, including a career-best seven made field goals. Waldner's previous best was 14 points vs. Northwestern on Feb. 20, 2014.
-Waldner ended the night with 399 career points and 482 career rebounds.
-Waldner matched her season-high of four assists. She also had four assists vs. Northwestern on Jan. 25, 2015.
-Waldner also made her third career three point basket vs. the Gophers. She made one three pointer earlier this season vs. Liberty (11/28/14) and one last season vs. Connecticut (11/17/13).
-Junior Candice Agee's lead the team in rebounding for the fifth time this season, grabbing nine boards.
-Agee added 10 points vs. Minnesota and now has 13 games this season with at least 10 points and five rebounds.
-Sophomore Sierra Moore logged her sixth game of the season with at least 14 points, five rebounds, and 5 assists. She scored 17 points, pulled in six rebounds, and added a career-high eight assists vs. the Gophers.
-Moore's eight assists give her 10 games this season with at least five helpers and surpassed her previous career-best of seven assists, which she accomplished three times, last vs. Indiana on Jan. 22, 2015.
-Sophomore Kaliyah Mitchell collected her eighth game of the season with at least 10 points and five rebounds as she scored 11 points and pulled in six boards vs. Minnesota.
-Mitchell also equaled her career-high with four assists.
TEAM NOTES
-The Lady Lions are 27-14 all-time against Minnesota, with a 16-4 mark all-time in home games against the Golden Gophers. The loss snapped a four-game home winning streak by Penn State.
-The Lady Lions committed their second fewest turnovers of the season with 12 vs. Minnesota. Only an 11-turnover game at Minnesota has been more efficient.
-Penn State out-rebounded its opponent for the 15th time on the year and second straight game, owning a 44-41 edge on the glass.
-The Lady Lions handed out a season-high 22 assists. They are the most assists since dishing out 22 at Purdue on Jan. 20, 2014.
-Three players logged at least four assists vs. the Gophers. It marked the fourth time this season that at least three Lady Lions logged four or more assists in a game and first since doing so vs. Rider on Dec. 14.
- The Lady Lions put four players in double figures for the second straight game and eighth time overall this season: Moore (17), Waldner (16), Mitchell (11), and Agee (10).
- The Lady Lions have their bye date on Thursday and return to action at Maryland on Monday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. Penn State returns home to face Ohio State on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
