UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (6-22, 3-14) will square off against Wisconsin (8-19, 4-13) to close out the regular-season with the Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State game on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. Sunday is also Senior Day where Lady Lion seniors Molly Dincher and Tori Waldner will be honored at a pregame ceremony beginning at 1:45 p.m. Additionally Grammy-nominated recording artist Kathy Sledge of the group Sister Sledge will perform the National Anthem and at halftime.

TICKET PROMOTIONS

  • Four dollars from each single-game ticket sold for Sunday's game will be donated to Pink Zone.

    SENIOR DAY

  • The Lady Lions will honor seniors Molly Dincher and Tori Waldner at a pregame ceremony beginning at 1:45 p.m.

    HALFTIME

  • Kathy Sledge of the group Sister Sledge will be performing at halftime as we honor the more than 700 breast cancer survivors slated to be in attendance.

    KIDS FUNZONE

  • The Lady Lions will have their Kids Funzone on the concourse for Sunday's game.
  • The Funzone will feature a face painter, airbrush tattoos, caricature artist and a create-a-station.

    BAG POLICY

  • No backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during varsity athletic events, other athletic and non-athletic events at this venue.
  • No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted.
  • All other bags will be searched upon entrance to the facility.

    WEBSTREAM

  • The webstream of the game is available on BTN Plus for a fee.

  • The game will be replayed as a Student "U" broadcast on the Big Ten Network on Monday, March 2 at 11 a.m.

    LAST TIME OUT

  • A double-double from Candice Agee and double-figure scoring efforts from both Sierra Moore and Tori Waldner weren't enough for the Lady Lions to overcome high-scoring Ohio State in an 88-70 setback on Thursday.
  • Agee posted her third double-double of the season as she grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 15 points against the Buckeyes.
  • The junior also added a pair of assists and two blocked shots in the game.
  • Moore carried the Lady Lion offense to start the second half and scored 13 of her team-best 18 points after halftime.
  • In her second-to-last home game, Waldner logged 10 points, hauled in six rebounds and handed out three assists.
  • She connected on 3-of-6 shots from the field and all four of her free throws on the night to record her fourth double-figure scoring game of the year.

    SCOUTING WISCONSIN

  • The Badgers are 8-19 on the season and 4-13 in Big Ten play.
  • Nicole Bauman leads the way for the Badgers with a 15.1 scoring average to go along with 3.8 assists per game and 1.0 steals.
  • Tessa Cichy has come on strong in conference play, averaging 11.0 points per game rate with 5.8 rebounds. She has knocked down a team-best 55 three-pointers against Big Ten foes.
  • Jacki Gulczynski accounts for 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, while Dakota Whyte adds 11.0 tallies, 3.9 assists and 3.0 rebounds.
  • Cassie Rochel leads the Badgers in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and blocks (57).

    ALL-TIME VERSUS THE BADGERS

  • The Lady Lions are 29-12 all-time against Wisconsin with an 18-2 mark in homes games.
  • Penn State has won five of the last six meetings with the Badgers, but dropped a 65-46 decision earlier this season.
  • Wisconsin has been Penn State's Pink Zone opponent three times, including last season.
  • The Lady Lions have won each of the Pink Zone games against the Badgers.

    LAST TIME VERSUS WIS

  • Wisconsin used a 16-0 early in the second half to take control of a nip-and-tuck game and hand the Penn State Lady Lions a 65-46 loss in Madison on Tuesday.
  • Freshman guard Lindsey Spann lead the Lady Lions for the 11th time in her young career with 13 points.
  • She also had four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
  • Junior center Candice Agee added nine points, seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals, while Jenny DeGraaf had seven points off of the bench.

    FORCE IN THE PAINT

  • Junior center Candice Agee has been a force in the paint in her last 12 games for the Lady Lions.
  • She is averaging 11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game in that stretch.
  • Agee has reached double figures in all 12 of the those games.
  • She has also blocked at least one shot in the last 13 games, dating back to the game at Wisconsin on Jan. 6.
  • The California native posted her third double-double of the season and second this year against Ohio State with 15 points and 10 rebounds against the Buckeyes on Feb. 26.

    2015 PINK ZONE AT PENN STATE

  • The Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health is Sunday as the Lady Lions take on Wisconsin at 2 p.m.
  • Last year, the Lady Lions donated a record $310,000 to breast cancer causes. • All totaled, the Lady Lions have donated more than $1.135 million for breast cancer research and awareness in the first eight years.
  • This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Lewistown Hospital.

    KATHY SLEDGE TO PERFORM AT PINK ZONE

  • Grammy-nominated artist and member of the singing group Sister Sledge, Kathy Sledge, will be performing at the Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health.
  • Sledge will sing the National Anthem and will perform at halftime as part of the celebration of the breast cancer survivors in attendance.
  • Sledge and her sisters formed Sister Sledge and recorded #1 hits "Mama Never Told Me" and "We Are Family" in the 1970s.
  • "We Are Family" earned the group a Grammy nomination and spurred the album of the same name to go double platinum.
  • The "We Are Family" album also turned out hit songs "Lost in Music" and "He's the Greatest Dancer."

    CAN CAN BLOCK

  • Junior center Candice Agee moved into a tie for 13th place on Penn State's career blocks list with two rejections versus Ohio State on Feb. 26.
  • Agee is tied with Reicina Russell (87; 2003-04) and Vicki Link (87;1984-87) for 13th place with 87 career rejections.
  • She needs two rejections to tie Kathy Phillips (89; 1989-92) for 12th spot.
  • Agee has 16 multi-block efforts this season, including nine of her last 11 games.
  • Agee recorded a career-high five blocks in the win over Rider on Dec. 14.

    GIVING A HELPING HAND

  • Over the last five games, Penn State has been in a mood for helping.
  • The Lady Lions are averaging 15.4 assists per game and have assisted on nearly two-thirds of their made field goals.
  • They handed out a season-high 22 assists against Minnesota on Feb. 15, just one game after dishing out 19 helpers vs. Michigan State.
  • Penn State has seen three players log at least four assists four times this season.
  • Freshman Lindsey Spann handed out five of the team's nine assists on Monday at Maryland.

    BETTER WITH AGE(E)

  • During her first two seasons on the University Park campus, junior Candice Agee learned from some of the top post players in school history.
  • The 6-foot-6 center watched Nikki Greene, Mia Nickson and Talia East dominate the paint.
  • This season, it is Agee that has matured into one of the top post players in the Big Ten.
  • She is averaging 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds this season, compared to her 2.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game through her first two seasons.
  • Agee has swatted 53 shots in 2014-15, which is 19 more than the 34 blocks she had in her first two years combined.
  • She had eight steals and 10 assists through two seasons in the blue and white, but this year has nabbed 26 steals and handed out 30 assists.
  • She is also making 4.3 field goals per game, compared to her 1.1 field goals per game average during her first two seasons.

    The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. The Lady Lions head to the Big Ten Tournament at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The tournament runs from Wednesday, March 4 through Sunday, March 8. Penn State will find out its opponent following the Sunday slate of games.
