UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 11th-ranked Penn State women's lacrosse team will put the final touches on its 2015 preseason camp when it hosts Villanova in an exhibition at Holuba Hall on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Nittany Lions, who have made three straight NCAA Tournaments under head coach Missy Doherty, face the Wildcats in a scrimmage that is free to attend and parking is available in Orange Lot C near Greenberg Sports Complex.

All fans attending the game will receive official team posters for the 2015 season featuring the three team captains: Tatum Coffey (Toms River, N.J.), Kelly Lechner (Silver Spring, Md.) and Maggie McCormick (Eldersburg, Md.).

The 2015 edition of the Nittany Lions enter a new era in the first season of Big Ten lacrosse featuring the defending national champion and preseason No. 1 Maryland Terrapins, No. 5 Northwestern, No. 12 Ohio State, Rutgers and Michigan.

Junior midfielder Madison Cyr (Westminster, Md.) is poised to pace the offense once again, while the Nittany Lions will also have junior midfielder Jenna Mosketti (Fallston, Md.) taking draws once again. Last season was cut short in the NCAA Tournament First Round following a pair of runs to the NCAA Quarterfinals.

As for Saturday's opponent, Villanova is coming off an 8-8 campaign where it finished 3-4 in Big East competition, missing out on the conference tournament by a game. Nevertheless, the Wildcats finished with their best conference record, improving on its 1-7 campaign in 2013.

The Wildcats return leading scorers Kelsey Denihan (26 goals) and Meghan Breen (25 goals).

The Nittany Lions' first regular season game is Feb. 14 against Lehigh in University Park.
