UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (6-18, 3-10) open a two-game homestand against Michigan State (11-13, 3-10) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. It's Centre County Women's Resource Center Night as part of the Coquese's Drive Thank You Game. Fans that bring a item from the CCWRC needed items list on the center's website will receive a $5 ticket.

BAG POLICY
- No backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during varsity athletic events, other athletic and non-athletic events at this venue.
- No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted.
- All other bags will be searched upon entrance to the facility.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Lady Lions used career highs from Keke Sevillian and Alex Harris to post a 54-50 win over Purdue Sunday at Mackey Arena.
- With Penn State trailing 46-44 with 2:37 remaining, Lindsey Spann hit a three-pointer, followed by a free throw by Purdue's Whitney Bays. Sierra Moore then hit a jumper to give the Lady Lions a 49-47 lead for good with 1:38 remaining.
- Sevillian, who was celebrating her 20th birthday on Sunday, was perfect on the afternoon, going 3-for-3 from the field, 2-for-2 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the free throw line en route to a career-high 10 pints.
- Harris was a spark off of the bench with personal bests of 13 rebounds and four blocks. She also made the free throw to make it a four-point game with five seconds left.
- Spann registered a game-high 16 points, including a career-high four three-pointers, with two assists and a steal.
- Sophomore Kaliyah Mitchell grabbed 12 rebounds to go along with six points, three assists, two steals and a block. Moore finished with eight points and six rebounds.
SCOUTING MICHIGAN STATE
- The Spartans are 11-13 overall and 3-10 in Big Ten play this season.
- Aerial Powers leads Michigan State in every nearly statistical category, averaging a double-double via 22.4 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. She also tops the team in assists (3.8), steals (2.4), blocks (1.1), double-doubles (19) and free throw percentage (.811).
- Tori Jankoska accounts for 16.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game with a team-best 52 three-pointers on the season.
- Becca Mills chips in 9.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
- Michigan State leads the Big Ten in rebounding offense with 44.2 boards per game.
ALL-TIME VERSUS THE SPARTANS
- The Lady Lions are 27-14 all-time against Michigan State, but have won three of their last four meetings against the Spartans.
- PSU is 15-4 in games played in Happy Valley, including a 71-56 win during the 2013 season.
- The Lady Lions won the only meeting between the teams last season with a 66-54 victory on Jan. 19, 2014.
LAST TIME VERSUS MSU
- In a game of runs, the Lady Lions had the last run as they came back from a seven-point halftime deficit to earn a 66-54 win at Michigan State on Jan. 19, 2014.
- Senior guard Dara Taylor led the charge for the Lady Lions with 18 points, including 10 makes from the free throw line, four rebounds, two assists and four steals.
- Senior guard Ariel Edwards scored 11 of her 16 points in the opening frame. She also added six rebounds and a pair of assists.
- Senior guard Maggie Lucas moved into 10th place on the Big Ten's career scoring chart with 16 markers.
- Freshman Kaliyah Mitchell was stellar off of the bench with six points and a career-high 10 rebounds in 16 minutes.
SEVILLIAN GETS A B-DAY CAREER HIGH
- Sophomore Keke Sevillian celebrated her 20th birthday in style with a career-high 10 points in the win at Purdue on Feb. 8.
- Sevillian connected on all three of her field goals - including two three-pointers - and made both of her free throw attempts.
- The 10 points pass her previous personal best of nine points set earlier this season against Nebraska (1/15) and Rider (12/14).
- The two three-pointers also tie her career high, which was set against the Huskers and Towson (11/14).
HARRIS SPARKS LIONS
- Sophomore Alex Harris set career highs with 13 rebounds and four blocked shots against the Boilermakers on Feb. 8.
- Harris also handed out a career-best two assists for the third time in her career with the last occurrence coming versus USF on Dec. 21, 2014.
- Her 13 rebounds best her previous career high of 11, which occurred three times with the most recent time coming at Iowa on Dec. 28, 2014.
- The four blocks best her previous mark of three rejections, which happened three times including against USF this season.
SPANN MOVES INTO FRESHMAN SCORING TOP 10
- With a game-high 16 points at Purdue on Feb. 8, Lindsey Spann moved into the Top 10 on Penn State's freshman season scoring list.
- She passed Kahadeejah Herbert (340; 1981-82) for the 10th spot with her effort against the Boilers.
- Spann has 346 points in her rookie season.
- She needs three tallies to tie Lisa Shepherd (349; 1997-98) for ninth, nine points to tie Tanisha Wright (355; 2001-02) for eighth and 19 markers to tie Alex Bentley (365; 2009-10) for seventh.
LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT COMBO
- Lady Lion head coach Coquese Washington has used eight different starting lineups this season.
- She also used a different starting five in each of the first three Big Ten contests.
- Only Sierra Moore has started every game for Penn State this season.
The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. The Lady Lions continue their two-game homestand against Minnesota on Sunday at 2 p.m. There's a pregame National Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic with other women's sports teams. Participants get a free ticket to the game and parents can purchase tickets for $5.
Lady Lion Basketball single-game are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets range from $10-17 for adults and seniors and $5-11 for youth (12 and younger). The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game.
The Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health will be held Sunday, March 1 in the Bryce Jordan Center when the Lady Lions take on Wisconsin. The time for the game will be determined later in the season. Last year, the Lady Lions donated a record $310,000 to breast cancer causes. All totaled, the Lady Lions have donated more than $1.135 million for breast cancer research and awareness in the first eight years. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C.
