Philadelphia College Hockey Faceoff Tickets (Promo Code: PENNST)
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" Tickets for the fourth annual Philadelphia College Hockey Faceoff between Penn State and Vermont began with a presale on Tuesday, July 7 with a public sale beginning July 10. The Nittany Lions and Catamount face off Nov. 29 at 1 p.m.
Fans wishing to purchase tickets during the presale can use the promo code: PENNST. Tickets start at just $10 for upper level seats and $12 for lower level seats.
Penn State and Vermont meet for the fourth straight season inside the South Philadelphia arena with the Nittany Lions holding a 2-1 edge. This past January, the Philadelphia area connection of David Thompson (Glen Mills, Pa.) connected on a pass from Ricky DeRosa (Aston, Pa.) to complete a third-period comeback in the 4-2 victory.
Penn State games in Philadelphia have been the most attended in program history with three of the top four crowds: 19,529 (Jan. 19, 2013), 17,632 (Oct. 26, 2013) and 11,674 (Jan. 31, 2015).
The Nittany Lions have five who call the Philadelphia suburbs home: Eamon McAdam (Perkasie, Pa.), Connor Varley (Lansdale, Pa.), Kevin Kerr (Bensalem, Pa.), Thompson and DeRosa.
