UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State's first meeting with San Diego State on Saturday, September 26 will kick at 3:30 p.m. and be televised on the Big Ten Network. The game is the third of five consecutive games at Beaver Stadium and will also feature the Second Annual Unrivaled Band Jam.

The Unrivaled Band Jam features performances by high school bands and the Penn State Blue Band. Band Jam will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Jordan Center. There is no admission fee.

Partial season and single game tickets for the 2015 campaign are on sale. To purchase tickets or for information on joining the Nittany Lion Club and purchasing new 2015 season tickets, as well as club seating in Beaver Stadium, fans can visit PSUnrivaled.com, call 1-800-NITTANY or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 10 a.m-6 p.m.

Penn State picked up a 27-14 win over Buffalo in the home opener on Sunday, led by a 115-yard rushing performance by freshman Saquon Barkley. Senior Carl Nassib was a dominating force for the defense against the Bulls, collected 3.0 sack, two forced fumbles and one interception to go along with five total tackles.

The Aztecs are 1-1 on the season with a win over San Diego in the season opener and a loss to California last week. SDSU's defense has provided pop for the Aztecs with six interceptions in the first two games, including two returned for touchdowns by Calvin Munson. San Diego State's trip is the second-long trip for an FBS team in the the country (no including trips to/by Hawaii).

The Nittany Lions opens Big Ten play in primetime against Rutgers on Saturday in Beaver Stadium. The game will be the inaugural Penn State Stripe Out. Fans can visit PennStateStripeOut.com to find out if they should wear blue or white for the game. Penn State students are asked to wear white for the student White Out against Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights will be playing in Beaver Stadium for the first time since 1994. The contest will air on BTN, the Penn State Sports Network (6:30 p.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.
