UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State softball team has announced its 2015 fall schedule Tuesday, Sept. 15. The Nittany Lions are slated to play three doubleheaders at Beard Field in September and October.
Head Coach Amanda Lehotak and her team kick off the fall schedule Sunday, Sept. 27 when they take on St. Francis in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. before going up against Pitt Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
The Nittany Lions will conclude their fall slate Tuesday, Oct. 13 when they take on Lock Haven in a doubleheader scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Beard Field.
The Blue and White concluded the 2015 season with a 29-28 overall record and an 11-7 record at Beard Field while advancing to the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals. Penn State returns 18 student-athletes for the 2016 campaign, including seven seniors.
