TDS Women's Team of the Week
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Sophomore defender Elizabeth Ball (Richmond, Va.) was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week. This is the second weekly honor from TopDrawerSoccer this season for Ball.
Last weekend, Ball and the Nittany Lions tallied a pair of shutouts en route to Penn State's sixth Big Ten Tournament title. Penn State topped Michigan, 1-0 and defeated Rutgers, 2-0. Against Rutgers, Ball scored the game-winning goal in the ninth minute. On the weekend, Ball played all but 13 minutes.
Ball and the Nittany Lion defense held the opposition to 17 shots, with seven shot attempts on goal.
Also, Frannie Crouse (Greensburg, Pa.) was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Honorable Mention Team of the Week. Crouse scored the game-winning goal against Michigan in the 62nd minute and was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Big Ten Tournament.
Penn State enters the NCAA Tournament Friday as a No. 1 seed. The Nittany Lions will host UAlbany Friday, Nov. 13, at Jeffrey Field at 6:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are: $8 for adults, $5 for youth and Penn State students, also groups of 20 or more can buy $3 tickets.
