UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's basketball (3-2) hits the road for a midweek matchup, traveling to Boston College (3-3) to take on the Eagles Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 7:15 p.m. in Conte Forum. The Big Ten/ACC matchup will broadcast live on ESPNU with Kevin Fitzgerald and Malcolm Huckaby on the call.

Both teams enter the matchup in search of their fourth win of the season. The Nittany Lions halted a two-game losing skid with a comeback win over Bucknell, 62-58, Saturday, while the Eagles started 3-0 before dropping their next three games in the Wooden Legacy Tournament.

Banks sunk a 3-pointer with 23 seconds remaining against Bucknell last week to break a 58-58 tie and give Penn State the lead. Redshirt junior Jermaine Marshall (Etters, Pa.) led Penn State with 25 points going 8-for-13 from the field. Redshirt sophomore D.J. Newbill (Philadelphia, Pa.) was second on the team with a career-high 22 points hitting 6-of-13 from the field and 8-of-11 at the foul line. He also was joined by current director of operations David Caporaletti, who was the assistant to the head coach while at BU.

LOOKING AHEAD
Penn State will return to University Park for three-straight games to close out the non-conference home slate by Dec. 12. The Nittany Lions will welcome Eastern Michigan to the BJC at noon Saturday before hosting a pair of #ReturntoRec games on Dec. 10 (Canisius, 7 p.m.) and Dec. 12 (Louisiana-Monroe, 2 p.m.).
