Fencing To Wrap Up Regular Season This Weekend

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" The Penn State fencing team will conclude its regular season action this weekend with a trip to the Temple Invitational. The Nittany Lions will face St. John's, Princeton, UPenn, Brown and Stevens (men only).

The competition will begin at 9:30 a.m. in McGonigle Hall with Penn State facing off against UPenn. Penn State will face Princeton at 11 a.m., St. John's at 1 p.m., Brown at 2:30 p.m. and Stevens (men only) at 4 p.m.

Competing this weekend for the men are:

Foil ââ'¬" Howie Chan (Walnut, Calif.), Nobuo Bravo (San Francisco, Calif.), Julian Fevry (St. Albans, N.Y.), Nicolas Graziano (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Stephen Barnett (Clinton, Conn.) and Dylan Pyne (Princeton, N.J.).

Epee ââ'¬" Anton Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas), Oskar Tang (Gothenburg, Sweden), Joshua Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Patrick August (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Lars Swanson (Mendham, N.J.).

Sabre ââ'¬" Adam Lewicki (Oakland, N.J.), Eduardo Lara (Queretaro, Mexico), Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.), Andrew Mackiewicz (Westwood, Mass.), Gavin Turner (Rehoboth, Mass.), Khalil Thompson (Teaneck, N.J.) and Farzaan Karimi (Medfield, Mass.).

Competing this weekend for the women are:

Foil ââ'¬" Kasey Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Desree Ortega-Furgeson (Wyoming, Mich.), Najiyyah Clark (Maplewood, N.J.) and Christine Fanning (Wheeling, W.Va.).

Epee ââ'¬" Jessie Radanovich (Tollhouse, Calif.), Jessica O'Neill-Lyublinsky (North Salem, N.Y.), Anastasia Kalonji (Rennes, France), Medora McCarthy (Los Altos Hills, Calif.), Alissa Hofmann (Cambridge, Mass.) and Julia Higson (State College, Pa.).

Sabre ââ'¬" Hanan Adnan (Singapore, Singapore), DeAna Oliver (Montclair, N.J.), Erin McLoughlin (San Jose, Costa Rica), Brianne Cavaliere (Wayne, N.J.), Kathryn Charpin (Setauket, N.Y.) and Teodora Kakhiani (Tbilisi, Georgia).
