TEMPE, Ariz. - The Penn State women's gymnastics team closed out its non-conference slate of the 2016 season with a 195.350-194.625 victory over Arizona State Friday night inside the Wells Fargo Arena.

The Nittany Lions won all four event team titles, two individual event titles and Kiera Brown (Newport News, Va.) and Jessica Jones (Canfield, Ohio) shared the all-around title (39.175). Sophomore Briannah Tsang (Vancouver, British Columbia) recorded a third-place finish in the all-around with her score of 39.150.

Penn State started the day with a 48.275 on the uneven bars with Brown winning the individual title for the sixth time this season. Brown led the Nittany Lions with a 9.850 on the uneven bars.

Rounding out the top-three for the Nittany Lions on the uneven bars was Chanen Raygoza (Upland, Calif.) with a second-place finish (9.825) and Tsang placed third with a 9.800.

During rotation two, Penn State went to the vault and finished first with a 49.000, which tied a season-best score. For the Blue and White on the vault, Tsang finished second (9.875) and Jones tied for third place with a 9.825.

Sophomore Oni Timothy (Rochester, N.Y.) tied for second-place on the floor exercise with her 9.875 to lead the Nittany Lions to the team event title (49.075). Brown and Tsang also tied for fourth (9.850) on the event.

The Nittany Lions closed out the meet with a 49.000 on the balance beam. For Penn State on the balance beam, Jones and Nicole Medvitz (Paramus, N.J.) tied for the event title with their scores of 9.875. Medvitz has claimed at least a share of the balance beam title over the past four meets for the Blue and White.

Penn State returns to Rec Hall for its 2016 home finale Saturday, March 12 for the Big Five Qualifier. Penn State will host Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Rutgers live on the Big Ten Network with a start time of 1 p.m.
