UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Freshman Charles Huntzinger moved up 17 spots into a tie for 10th as the Penn State men's golf team wrapped up the second round of the NCAA Regional Championships on the Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin. As a team, the Nittany Lions are 14-over on the par-72 course and sitting in the No. 11 spot on the 13-team field.

Huntzinger, a product of Duluth, Georgia, carded a 71 on the second day for a two-round total of 144. The Big Ten Freshman of the Year tallied two birdies on the back nine to help him move up from his spot in 27th place entering the morning.

Huntzinger is joined in the Top 30 individual field by senior JD Dornes (Lancaster, Pa.) and sophomore Cole Miller (New Tripoli, Pa.), who sit in a tie for 28th with a two-round score of 146.
