UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" In addition to nine TV appearances, Penn State women's volleyball fans will have many more opportunities to catch the Nittany Lions streaming live on BTN Plus this year. A total of 16 additional matches will be streamed online via BTN Plus this season, including 10 home matches and six on the road.
Additionally, the Pac-12 Network will air both Nittany Lion matches at the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge in Boulder, Colorado Sept. 3-4. The Big Ten Network has also announced live TV coverage of Penn State's second regular season matchup against Nebraska on the road in Lincoln, Wednesday Nov. 16.
In total, Nittany Lion fans will have the opportunity to watch 25-of-31 Penn State regular season matchups on BTN Plus or live on the Big Ten Network. All but one Big Ten tilt will also be available streaming live or on TV.
BTN Plus is a paid subscription package, available on BTN2go.com, featuring non-televised matches as well as Student U productions produced by participating Big Ten programs. BTN Plus subscriptions do not require BTN TV subscriptions with television provider login. Pricing for subscriptions is available here.
Penn State's six matches airing live on BTN (see list below) will be available online at BTN2go.com free of charge.
The Nittany Lions open the 2016 season with BTN Plus streaming of all three Penn State Classic matches beginning with the season-opener against West Virginia Friday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall. Penn State enters its 41st season of women's volleyball with six returning starters, including AVCA First Team All-American Haleigh Washington and AVCA All-America honorable mention Ali Frantti.
Single-match tickets to all home matches in Rec Hall are now on sale. Advance tickets are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Fans may purchase tickets by visiting www.GoPSUsports.com/accountmanager and logging into your account or by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Tickets are also available at the door on gameday priced at $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Penn State women's volleyball has great group rates as well with advance tickets for groups of 20 or more for just $4.
All Penn State students are admitted free of charge with a valid PSU Student ID. 2016 season tickets are also still on sale. New season ticket packages are priced at $84. Fans may purchase tickets by calling 1-800-NITTANY or by stopping by the Athletics Ticket Office Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
