UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -The Penn State women's basketball program will entertain Wisconsin for a Big Ten Conference clash on Monday, Jan. 16 in front of a national audience on the Big Ten Network The Lady Lions and Badgers will tip at 7 p.m. and tickets are still available.

Series Notes
- Penn State and Wisconsin will meet for the 44th time in program history. More on Page 5
- The Lady Lions are 29-14 all-time against the Badgers, but Wisconsin has won the last three meetings.
- All but one meeting between the two schools have come as members of the Big Ten Conference.
- The first meeting came on February 2, 1992 at Penn State, with the Lady Lions earning an 86-75 victory.
- Wisconsin won the only meeting last season, claiming an 82-62 victory on Jan. 10, 2016.
Scouting Wisconsin
- Wisconsin enters with a 5-12 overall record and is looking for its first win in Big Ten play, entering at 0-4. The Badgers are currently on a four-game skid, with its last win coming on Dec. 15, 2016 at Green Bay, 54-53.
- Like Penn State, Wisconsin has a 100-point game on its resume, topping Mississippi Valley State by 42 points, 103-61, on Dec. 8, 2016.
- The Badgers own the edge on the boards, grabbing 2.6 rebounds per game more than the opposition. Wisconsin's rebound edge is 41.3-38.7 in per game averages.
- There are two Badgers averaging in double-figures through 17 games, led by Cayla McMorris' 13.8 points per game. McMorris also plays a team-best 29.8 minutes per game.
- Avyanna Young paces the team with 7.5 rebounds and joins McMorris in double-digits with 11.2 points per game.
- Kendra Van Leeuwen paces the team with 67 assists and 23 steals, while Kendall Shaw leads the squad with 15 blocked shots.
Last Five Games
- At this point, Penn State is five games into the Big Ten season and owns a 1-4 record. The win came vs. Iowa, while the losses came vs. Indiana and at Rutgers, Purdue and No. 3/3 Maryland.
- Penn State scored 83 points in a six-point loss at No. 3/3 Maryland, 89-83.
- The Lady Lions are shooting nearly 40-percent from the field, making 123-of-313 shots. The opposition, however, is hitting 48 percent from the floor (139-of-289) over the last five games.

- Amari Carter scored a career-high 22 points on 11-of-19 shooting.
- Carter handed out eight assists with just two turnover, marking the 10th time in 2016-17 she finished a game with at least five assists and fewer than two turnovers.
- In a career-high 39 minutes, Carter added four rebounds and one steal.
- Teniya Page tallied a team-best 27 points, hitting a career-best six 3-pointers.
- Page connected on 6-of-10 shots from 3-point range, including four in the first half.
- The six made 3-pointers are the most for a Penn State player since Lindsey Spann made seven at Minnesota on Jan. 3, 2016.
- Playing 40 minutes, Page produced her ninth career game of at least 40 minutes.
- Ashanti Thomas scored a career-high 11 points, marking the first double-figure scoring game of her career.
- Thomas made 5-of-6 shots from the field and connected on her only free throw.
- Lindsey Spann reached the 200 career assist plateau with her first quarter helper. She is just the 31st player in Penn State history to reach the 200-assist mark.
- Sierra Moore posted her ninth double-digit scoring game of the season with 10 points.
- With 10 points, Moore moved past the 500-point mark in her Penn State career, ending the night with 509 career tallies.
- Forcing 21 Maryland turnovers, Penn State notched its fifth game of the season forcing at least 20 turnovers.
- The Lady Lions hit eight 3-pointers in the game, giving them nine games this season with eight-or-more made shots from distance.
Last Meeting - at Wisconsin 82, Penn State 62 (Jan. 10, 2016)
- Lindsey Spann notched her ninth double-figure scoring game and fourth 20-point game of 2015-16 with 21 points.
- Brianna Banks reached double-digits in the scoring column for the eighth straight game with 12 points.
- Candice Agee netted a then-season-high 16 points at Wisconsin, marking her second straight double figure scoring game.
- Agee also added a game-high nine rebounds, her firth game with at least seven rebounds in 2015-16.
- Agee also blocked one shot, giving her 110 career rejections, moving her within 10 swats of Tori Waldner for No. 8 on the Penn State career charts.
- Penn State notched 10-plus assists for the 12th time in 15 games at Wisconsin with 11 helpers.
