UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - After an epic win last weekend against No. 1 Columbia, the Lions heads to Queens, N.Y., this Saturday to compete in the St. John's Invitational.
Penn State will compete against five opponents throughout the day, beginning at 10 a.m. with a match-up against Ohio State.
Penn State will also fence against Notre Dame, St. John's, Harvard and another big match against Columbia.
The Nittany Lion women's will have a shot at redemption against Columbia, after falling to the Lions 11-16 last weekend. The Nittany Lion men's will also have the opportunity to go 2-0 against Columbia after a 14-13-win last weekend.
Competing for the men are:
Foil: Felipe Rosario (Maplewood, N.J.), Mohamed Hassan (Saint Louis, MO), Julian Fevry (St. Albany, N.Y.), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.) , Howie Chan (Walnut, Calif.), and Nicolas Graziano (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
Epee: Joshua Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Patrick August ( Las Vega, Nev.), Oskar Tang ( Gothenburg, Sweden) , Anton Piskovatskov ( Houston, Texas ), and Clinton Rodell (Annadale, VA)
Sabre: Marcel Dolegiewicz ( Park Ridge, Ill.) , Gavin Turner (Rehoboth, Mass. ) , Matthew Lewicki (Oakland, N.J.) , Karol Metryka ( Linden, N.J.) and Andrew Mackiewicz ( Westwood, Mass. ).
Competing for the women are:
