Women's Rankings
NEW ORLEANS, LA. - The Penn State men's track & field team checks in at No. 21 of the National Computer Rankings, as released Monday afternoon by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Both Nittany Lion track & field teams are represented in the rankings with the men's team holding the No. 21 spot, while the women are currently just outside the top-25 checking in at No. 29 in the week one rankings.
The Nittany Lions are coming off a meet that saw Danae Rivers set the school record in the 800-meters as well as several other strong performances on the NCAA and Big Ten level.
Penn State has 51 Big Ten top-20 performances this season, with 28 of them in the top-10 and four performances that lead the conference.
Penn State will return to the track Jan. 27-28 as they host the Penn State National Open that will be streamed live on FloTrack and BTN2Go.
