UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -A two-game road swing for the Penn State basketball program will open on Wednesday, Feb. 1 in Columbus, Ohio against No. 14 Ohio State. The Lady Lions and Buckeyes will square off at 7 p.m. inside the Schottenstein Center, with the game carried on the Penn State Radio Network and on BTN2go.com.

- Ohio State enters at 19-5 overall and 9-1 in Big Ten play, entering the contest riding a five-game winning streak. The 9-1 mark in conference play sits No. 2 behind conference-leading Maryland.
- The Buckeyes lead the nation in free throw attempts, getting to the line 547 times through 24 games. They also sit No. 2 nationally with 379 makes from the charity stripe.
- Ohio State is No. 4 nationally in scoring offense (86.8 ppg), No. 5 in rebounds per game (46.2) and No. 21 in blocked shots per game (5.5).
- Kelsey Mitchell leads the Big Ten and ranks No. 6 in the NCAA at 22.8 points per game and is No. 2 nationally with 78 makes from 3-point range.
- Mitchell also paces the Buckeyes in assists (96) and steals (32), while chipping in 3.0 rebounds per game.
- The rebound leader for the Buckeyes is Stephanie Mavunga, who is averaging 11.3 rebounds per contest - a per-game clip that sits atop the Big Ten and No. 8 nationally.
- Mavunga is adding 11.7 points per game and 2.3 blocked shots per contest.

- Amari Carter locked in her 11th game this season with 5-or-more assists, tallying a team-high eight helpers.
- Carter also turned the ball over just twice in the game, marking her 10th game this season with at least five assists and two-or-fewer turnovers.

- Brianna Banks chipped in 14 points for her 19th double-digit scoring effort of 2015-16.
- Banks' 14 points helped her move past the 300-career-point mark for her Penn State career, ending the night with 306 career points.
- Teniya Page scored 11 points to move her season total to 390 tallies and push her into No. 7 on the Penn State freshman scoring charts. She passed teammate Lindsey Spann, who scored 384 points last season.
- Page also dished out five assists to move her career total to 96, just two shy of 10th on the all-time freshman charts.
- Kaliyah Mitchell scored 10 points to reach double figures for the 13th time in 2015-16.
- Peyton Whitted grabbed a team-best eight boards, moving her season total to 201 caroms.
- Penn State started the same starting lineup for the 15th time in 2015-16; sending Banks, Page, Spann, Mitchell and Whitted out to begin the game.
