NEW ORLEANS, LA
- Following a weekend that saw 12 Nittany Lion men punch their ticket for the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Penn State checked in at No. 11 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings.

The Penn State men's team moved up seven spots from No. 18 to No. 11 after a overwhelmingly successful NCAA East First-Rounds in Lexington, Ky.

Penn State will be represented by 21 student-athletes on the men's and women's side combined - the most athletes competing at the NCAA Championships in Penn State history since the men's and women's programs combined in 2006.
