FH No. 6 in Latest NFHCA Poll

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.
- The Penn State field hockey team checked in at the No. 6 spot in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll, as released Tuesday morning.

Connecticut posted two more wins last week and the undefeated Huskies remained the No. 1 team in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Coaches Poll on Tuesday.

Connecticut totaled 1,144 points and 43 first-place votes to remain the No. 1 team again. The rest of the top five included No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Michigan, No. 4 Virginia and No. 5 North Carolina.

The bottom half of the top ten included No. 6 Penn State, No. 7 Syracuse, No. 8 Delaware, No. 9 Northwestern and No. 10 Boston College.

Admission is free for all fans at Penn State Field Hockey Complex during the regular season.
