Q: Seems as though as the season has progressed your half-court set defense, 1-2-2 has improved. What do you have to say in terms of how far your team your team has come as far as knowing their rotations and knowing where they're supposed to be?
CW: Well I think we are getting a lot more comfortable in it. We got a lot of young players playing, so they need the experience of practice and games. There's a certain rhythm that you get in in games, and they just need that experience. We are nine games in, and I think we are starting to develop an understanding and their rhythm. You need that sixth sense when you are out on the court, you know where everyone is going to be, and every game I think we get a little bit more confident and more comfortable with our rotations on defense.
Q: You guys forced 21 turnovers today, had a full-court pressure going a little bit in the first half, and kind of got Manhattan out of rhythm. How important was that to settle you guys into the game?
CW: Well I think it's good if we can be aggressive at the beginning, be disruptive, and not let our opponent settle into an offensive rhythm and gain offensive confidence. It was good that early on we got some deflections, they get a little bit more concerned about the press and breaking the press as opposed to running their offense. That helped us get out to an early lead.
Q: You guys went 22-for-25, so roughly 90 percent from the foul line. Has that been a point of emphasis in practice, and how important is that going forward?
CW: Well we have talked about that a lot, I shouldn't say talked about it, we make them shoot a lot of free-throws because it is important that when we get those opportunities to take advantage of it. The right people are getting to the line and they are focused and they're knocking them down, and it's been helpful.

Q: Amari, so you and Kamaria [McDaniel] had a lot of transition points. Was that the plan going into the game with increased pressure or was that just kind of how it worked out? AC: I think that's always the plan. Just get out and get fast, get deflections and steals on defense. Get out ahead of the pack.
