UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -The final regular season non-conference matchup for the Penn State women's basketball team comes in the form of American University on Wednesday, Dec. 20. The Lady Lions (9-3) will square off against the Eagles (6-4) inside Bender Arena at 1 p.m.

Scouting the Eagles
// American has won four of its last six games, including three-straight game before suffering a setback at George Washington on Dec. 17, 61-44.
// After starting the season with only one of their first seven games at home, the Eagles are in the midst of playing four of five inside Bender Arena.
// One key to the success that American is having is limiting turnovers, as the squad enters with just 13.7 missteps per game. That total ranks No. 50 nationally and leads the Patriot League.
