UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - No. 9 Penn State men's volleyball continues EIVA play against Sacred Heart (2-4) (Main Gym) Friday, Feb. 16 at 7:00 p.m. ET, before taking on Harvard (1-6) (South Gym) February 17 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

SCOUTING SACRED HEART | (Main Gym)
Sacred Heart currently No. 7 in the EIVA standings with a 0-1 mark in conference play and 2-4 overall record. The Pioneers are led by redshirt junior Emerson Waumans who has notched 53 kills so far this season, while on the defensive side of the ball Joshua Ayzenberg leads the team with 67 digs and Taylor Bloomquist is the team leader in total blocks with 24.
SCOUTING HARVARD | (South Gym)
Harvard currently sits one spot behind Penn State in the EIVA standings at No. 3 with a 1-0 mark in conference play and 1-6 overall record. The Crimson are led by sophomore Erik Johnsson who has notched 53 kills in 2018, Mario Kostich leads the team in assists (175) and service aces (12) while Trevor Dow leads in total blocks with 26.
PENN STATE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Penn State is currently ranked in the top-25 in four different team categories including a top-10 ranking in hitting percentage - .320 (eighth), and aces per set - 1.65 (10th).
Individually, Jalen Penrose is ranked No. 6 in the nation in aces per set (0.56), Kevin Gear is No. 8 in hitting percentage (.404), and Luke Braswell is 13th in the nation in assists per set averaging 9.90.

Penn State enters week four at No. 9 team in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association DI-II (AVCA) poll.
Penn State (6-2, 0-0) is coming off a 1-0 weekend vs. Saint Francis (Pa.) this past weekend on the road in Loretto, Pa.
Long Beach State remained the No. 1 team in the nation receiving 24 of the 25 first-place votes with a record of 12-0, followed by UCLA (1) at No. 2 (13-1), Hawai'i at No. 3 (8-1), UC-Irvine at No. 4 (11-2) and Ohio State (9-2) rounding out the top-five.
PAVLIK KNOWS HOW TO WIN
In his 24th year at the helm of the program, head coach Mark Pavlik has amassed over 500 wins. Pavlik currently stands at 549-174 for his career.

Penn State continues the home stand in Rec Hall as the Nittany Lions take on George Mason Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. ET Saturday matchup with the Golden Eagles of Charleston (WV).
