UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State track & field teams are set to host the final home indoor track & field meet of the year in this weekend's Penn State Tune-Up scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

NCAA/B1G RANKINGS
Penn State is represented by five marks on the men's side and two on the women's side in the top-10 of NCAA Division I rankings, while at the conference level, Penn State has 24 performances on the men's side and 17 on the women's side in the top-10 of the Big Ten Conference.

LATEST USTFCCCA RANKINGS
The Penn State men's track & field team received a top-10 ranking in the latest top-25 of the National Computer Rankings, as released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Nittany Lion men's team is currently No. 8, down one spot from last week, following a weekend that saw the Nittany Lions compete in three meets around the country. Penn State competed at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., The Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, and the Spire Invitational in Geneva, Ohio.

RECORD BREAKING SEASON
After seven meets, a total of three school records have been broken.

  • Women's 800-Meters - Danae Rivers - 2:03.13
  • Men's Weight Throw - David Lucas- 22.68m (74'-5.00")
  • Men's Triple Jump - Bryce Williams- 16.24m (53'-3.25")

Penn State gears up for the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio February 23-24.
