"This will be a nice ride home," said head coach Jeff Zinn. "The boys played really well and you could tell the hard work these last two weeks has really helped. Everyone competed and gave it their all, which is what we have to do every time out. It's nice to see the change in the team."

"It's always been a battle with VCU over the years splitting wins and losses," said associate head coach Paul Tobin. "Head Coach Paul Kostin does a great job getting his players pumped up. The guys knew our season could rest on these matches and they came out passionate and fired up. The guys kept the momentum going with JMU getting the four points in less than two hours. We're looking forward to Ohio State on Tuesday."

The Nittany Lions are now 5-4 on the season after two solid wins today. The team will open Big Ten play against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 4:00 p.m.
