UNIVERSITY PARK, PA.-- The Penn State women's tennis team will travel to play the No. 26 Princeton Tigers, in Princeton, N.J. on Saturday, Mar. 3 at 10:00 a.m. This match will kick-off the Nittany Lion's spring break trip, which will feature games against Princeton, Memphis and UCF.
Penn State (5-4, 0-1 B1G) is coming off of a 6-1 win over Buffalo. The team went 6-0 in singles play against Buffalo, and will look to continue with more strong performances.
Princeton is 9-1 on the season and will take on Maryland on Friday, Mar. 2 before facing the Nittany Lions on Saturday. Penn State will be the fourth Big Ten team the Tigers will play, after facing Maryland, Rutgers and Indiana.
"We are getting ready to hit one of the busiest stretches of our season with spring break starting at Princeton," said head coach Chris Cagle. "We have quality competition ahead which will be great opportunities for us to test ourselves. We are playing better and better each week and I look forward to competing with this team each match."
Looking ahead, Penn State will continue its spring break road trip at the USTA Campus in Lake Nona, Fla. to take on Memphis on Thursday, Mar. 8 and UCF on Saturday, Mar. 10.
