UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State softball game scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 against Pittsburgh has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the area.
The Nittany Lions and the Panthers will not make up the single game originally schedule to be played at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field.
Penn State will continue its 2018 home schedule Friday, April 6-Sunday, April 8 when it welcomes Michigan for a Big Ten Conference series. The Blue and White will play a single game Friday at 6 p.m. before playing game two Saturday, April 7 at 3 p.m. and concluding the series Sunday, April 8 at 1 p.m.
With a B1G week ahead for the Penn State softball team, limited tickets remain for Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8 against No. 17 Michigan at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to the general admission Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field. Penn State softball will open the gates to Beard Field one and a half hours before the first pitch for this weekend series vs. Michigan. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Once all seats have been filled, remaining tickets holders will be directed to the standing room only areas.
