2018 Women's Tennis Fall Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Women's Tennis head coach Chris Cagle has announced the Nittany Lions' 2018 fall slate. Penn State is set to appear in seven different tournaments over five weekends from mid-September to early November.

"I am excited about our fall schedule," Cagle said. "We have a few weekends where we will split our squad so that we can get as much match play as possible for our team. We are traveling to find great competition to push our team and help prepare us for the spring season.

"I expect our team to come back to campus prepared for a great fall of training and competition," Cagle continued. "I look forward to our fall training and seeing what lies ahead this year!"

Cagle's young but experienced 2018-19 squad, which features two juniors, five sophomores and three freshmen, will open the fall slate at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland, Texas on Sept. 14-16. The Nittany Lions then head to Penn's Cissie Leary Invitational Sept. 21-23 in Philadelphia.

Penn State will split its squad the following weekend, sending student-athletes to both Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational and UNCW's Seahawk Invitational. Following a weekend off from competition, the Nittany Lions will turn their attention to ITA Regionals at Virginia Tech on Oct. 12-16.

The fall season concludes Nov. 2-4 when Penn State sends student-athletes to both the Dickie V Invitational in Tampa, Fla. and the Kitty Harris Invitational at the University of North Carolina.
