PJ Mullen, who transitioned to his role of Marketing Manager in December 2016, brings more than a decade of institutional and community knowledge to Penn State Athletics. Mullen oversees marketing efforts for the Men's Basketball, Field Hockey, and Women's Lacrosse programs. PJ also provides oversight of the department's internship program and student group efforts.

After serving as program director and morning show host at WBHV-FM (B94.5) in State College, Pa from 2009-2014, Mullen joined Coach James Franklin and The Penn State Football staff as Director of Player Development and Community Relations.

A 2007 Penn State graduate with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications, Mullen also is an adjunct professor in the College of Communications where he teaches broadcast journalism courses as well as freshmen seminars.
