UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Hockey Valley unites as the Penn State men's and women's ice hockey teams will host the first ever "Saturday Power Play" doubleheader featuring a two-for-one game ticket special. A single ticket grants admission to both a women's regular-season home game against Merrimack and the men's International Game versus Brock on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Pegula Ice Arena.
Tickets will be $5 for the general public while Penn State students' will be allowed free admission with a valid student ID. Gates open at 1:00 p.m. and puck drop for the women's game is set for 2:00 p.m. The men's game will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the women's contest.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased here. All seating will be general admission in the lower bowl. The Club and Suite levels will be closed. Women's Hockey season ticket holders will receive a ticket for the event in their season ticket package. There will be no re-entry allowed into the arena. All parking will be free and all lots will be open for fans.
In accordance with new 2018-19 single-game ticket distribution guidelines and security measures, all single-game tickets will be delivered electronically through fans' mobile devices. Print-at-home PDF tickets will no longer be issued or accepted at Pegula Ice Arena.
Fans who prefer physical paper tickets can pick up their tickets at the Pegula Ticket Office on game day. Photo ID must be presented and tickets will only be printed for the name on the Penn State Athletics account.

Both the Penn State men's and women's hockey programs finished within the top ten nationally in overall attendance during the 2017-18 season in their respective divisions.
