The athletic and multi-talented Brown was all over the field making plays for the Knights during his senior season, seeing time at defensive end, linebacker, running back and tight end. He recorded 105 tackles, with three sacks on defense. He also ran for 746 yards and nine touchdowns and caught three touchdown passes during the 2013 campaign. During his junior season, Brown helped Tuscaloosa Academy get off to strong start en route to winning the 2012 Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) Class AAA state championship.
