"Everyone that played today, had a specific, personal goal which they each accomplished," said head coach Chris Cagle. "That led to some wins and improved our overall play. I was pleased with how we competed and improved today. Sydney Weinberg is competing to win her flight tomorrow. Olivia Rohrbacher played well and played hard today, in a match that could have gone either way. Olivia Ryan finished off a three-setter in singles. Gracy Hirsch is playing well and I expect her to breakthrough. I am looking forward to us finishing the tournament strong tomorrow!"

Play will close out tomorrow for the Nittany Lions at the Cissie Leary Invitational.
