Two Nittany Lions to Compete in ITA All-Americans

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – In the first action of the fall season, two members of the Penn State Men's Tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla. to compete in the ITA All-Americans.

Christian Lakoseljac (King City, Ontario) and Constant De La Bassetiere (Reims, France) will play on Monday in the doubles and singles qualifying draw. Both Lakoseljac and De La Bassetiere earned ITA's preseason rankings at No. 97 and  No. 106, respectively.

The duo competed in the tournament last fall, making it to the doubles main draw. De La Bassetiere also advanced to the singles main draw.

"Every year this tournament gets me excited because it's the best-of-the-best in college tennis," said head coach Jeff Zinn. "Christian and Constant are both ranked in the nation's Top 100 players and it's a good chance for them to improve their rankings and gauge themselves against the best in college tennis."

The Nittany Lions next tournament won't be until ITA Regionals in Blacksburg, Va. on Oct. 20.
