"It was a great day to close out the tournament," said assistant coach Alexandra Anghelescu. "Our girls competed hard with an impressive attitude to go along with it, that we are very proud of. We had a few close matches, some went our way and some didn't, but the constant support throughout the team was constant. This was a good way to leave the tournament, to pave the road to regionals in a couple weeks and also our spring season."

Up next, the Nittany Lions will travel to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. from Oct. 12-16 for the ITA Regionals.
