CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-- The Penn State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Kitty Harrison Invitational hosted by the University of North Carolina. The three-day tournament marked the final fall competition for the Nittany Lions.
"As I told our team today, they should have learned a lot from this tournament," said head coach Chris Cagle. "We went from faster tennis on Friday indoors to slower outdoor tennis today. There are no excuses and those that adapt and figure things out, have a better chance of winning. We will train for three more weeks to prepare for the spring season. Our first home match will be here before we know it, so a daily sense of urgency is a must. I look forward to our journey the rest of the semester and in the spring!"
