UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.-- The Penn State women's tennis team will play host to Pittsburgh, Temple and Bucknell this coming weekend. All three matches will be played in the indoor tennis center.
Penn State (1-0) will face Pittsburgh (0-0) on Friday, Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. Due to the incoming winter storm this weekend, the matches on Sunday, Jan. 20 against Temple at 11 a.m. and against Bucknell at 4:30 p.m. have been postponed at this time and no make up date has been announced.
"We have a big weekend of tennis ahead for our team," said head coach Chris Cagle. "Our matches with Pitt have always been closely contested and we expect them to come in ready to play. Sunday will be a good test for us with two matches, first against Temple followed by Bucknell. We are working on preparing for this weekend by focusing on ourselves and the things we need to do to be successful. I look forward to the weekend starting on Friday versus Pitt!"
