HIDDEN DUEL MATCH FORMAT

Over the three day span, Penn State will face off against three teams. Saturday they will play Virginia Tech (2-0), followed by William & Mary (0-1) on Sunday and end with Middle Tennessee (2-0) on Monday.

Each player will compete and accumulate points as an individual with no team score. In singles, a win at the No. 1 spot will earn an individual eight points with point totals going down the lineup with No. 8 winning just one point. In doubles, a win at No. 1 is worth six points, a win at No. 2 is worth four points, a win at No. 3 is worth two points and a win at the No. 4 spot is worth one point.

"I really like the format this weekend and the competition that is coming to the tournament," head coach Jeff Zinn said. "We will get to see the guys in a 'team setting' with national rankings on the line in most of the matches. It's a great tune-up before we start dual matches."
