Miscellaneous Notes

  • With the win coach Patrick Chambers improves his Penn State record to 124 wins and his career wins total to 166.
  • This is Penn State's 14th win over a top 25 opponent under coach Patrick Chambers, most by a Nittany Lion coach.
  • Penn State's five wins in February mark the first time the Nittany Lions have reached that total in the month since the 1997-98 season. This is the first time Penn State has posted four-win Februarys in back-to-back seasons since before joining the Big Ten.
  • Forward Lamar Stevens started in the 100th consecutive game of his career. This is the second-longest active starting streak in the nation and longest streak by a junior.
  • This is Penn State's second consecutive season beating three ranked opponents.

  • With three 3-point field goals in the game, Myles Dread now has the second-most 3-pointers in a season by a freshman with 64 total. Pete Lisicky has the record with 68 (1994-95).
  • Dread ties his Big Ten career high for points with 17 in the game, tying his effort on Feb. 12 at home against Michigan, both times coming against a ranked team.
  • Josh Reaves' four steals in the game moves him into sole possession of the No. 2 spot on Penn State's career list with 240.
  • Jamari Wheeler's seven assists tie his career high last set against Iowa on Jan. 17.  
  • Myreon Jones reached double-figures for the third time this season. His 10 points mark the second time Jones has reached double-figures against a ranked opponent this season (Virginia Tech, Nov. 27).
  • Lamar Stevens' 24 points mark the eighth time in the last 10 games he has reached 20 or more points. He moved to seventh on Penn State's all-time scoring list, now with 1580 points.
  • John Harrar reached a career-high in points, recording nine against the Terrapins and tied career-high steals with three last reached at Michigan on Jan. 3.
