Women’s Tennis Closes Out Home Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.-- The Penn State women's tennis team will play host for the final weekend this spring when Indiana and Purdue come to town. The Nittany Lions (11-7, 3-4 B1G) will take on Indiana (13-9, 3-4 B1G) on Friday, April 12 at 4:30 p.m. and Purdue (7-11, 2-5 B1G) on Sunday, April 14 at 11 a.m.

Due to forecasted rainy conditions, both matches are tentatively scheduled to be held in the Indoor Tennis Center.

"This is a big weekend in Happy Valley," said head coach Chris Cagle. "We have our Friday and Sunday matches as well as the annual Blue-White Game on Saturday. Both matches against Indiana and Purdue will be battles. We need great crowds out on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. The team has worked hard all year and now is the time to make a push as we get closer to the end of the Big Ten season!"
