O’Gorman and Rohrbacher Back in ITA Doubles Rankings

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.-- The sophomore pairing of Gabby O'Gorman (Gunnedah, N.S. Wales, Australia) and Olivia Rohrbacher (Sandusky, Ohio) jumped back into the Oracle/ITA Women's Division I Doubles Rankings this week at No. 79. The duo last appeared in the rankings the week of April 2 at No. 79.

"Olivia and Gabby have played well all spring and it is nice to see them back in the rankings," said head coach Chris Cagle. "We will need them to continue to play well this weekend. I look forward to a great team effort this weekend."

This past weekend against Purdue, the duo knocked off their first ever ranked doubles pair in then-No. 45 Silvia Ambrosio and Amina Mukhametshina. The pair took down the Boilermakers in convincing fashion, 6-2.

O'Gorman and Rohrbacher own a 14-4 record in duals this spring, with all 14 wins coming on court No. 1. Their 14 wins are a team-high.

The last Penn State doubles pair to record 14 wins in a season was Petra Januska and Chelsea Utting in 2013.
