UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Penn State Transportation Services announced last week that numerous parking areas across Penn State's campus will be reserved for permit holders 24 hours a day, seven days a week, beginning July 1 including Yellow H (Pegula, Shields, and Wagner lots).
For guests visiting the Pegula Ice Arena, the following options will exist for parking:
- Park for free in Stadium West, Jordan East, and Orange F on weekends and after 5pm on weeknights
- Pay to park by the hour in the Yellow H South lot via the pay station
- Pay to park by the hour in select spaces in the Yellow H Shields lot via the pay station
- Purchase an "Evening/Weekend parking permit" for $6/month from the Penn State Transportation Services office. Permit holders can park in most faculty/staff parking areas, including Yellow H, on weekends and after 4pm on weeknights.
The two fifteen-minute flasher parking spots in the Yellow H South lot outside of Gate C will remain for drop-off and pick-up.
Parking options for men's and women's varsity hockey games will not be affected.
Beginning in mid-July the entire Yellow H Shields lot will be available to pay to park by the hour on weeknights after 5pm and on weekends. There will be a 3 hour maximum on this pay to park lot. When that option is available, it will be communicated.
