Ali Krieger and Alyssa Naeher Return to Happy Valley

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's soccer alumnae and two-time World Cup champions Alyssa Naeher and Ali Krieger will be a part of numerous events this weekend in their return to Happy Valley.
 
Krieger '06 and Naeher '09 will return to Jeffrey Field to watch the Nittany Lions battle Stony Brook in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Prior to the game, Krieger and Naeher will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans from 5:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. ET.
 
Fan are encouraged to arrive to Jeffrey Field early and gates will open at 5 p.m. ET. A ticket must be purchased in order to participate in the autograph signing and photos with Krieger and Naeher. No re-admittance will be allowed into the stadium.
 
Along with their visit to Jeffrey Field, Krieger and Naeher will participate in a second photo session prior to the Penn State football game on Saturday, 11/16 from 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. This will occur at fan fest located at the south entrance to Beaver Stadium.
 
Krieger and Naeher will also be honored on the field for their most recent World Cup championship earlier this year.
 
Two of the more storied women's soccer alumnae in Penn State history, Krieger and Naeher were an integral part of the 2019 World Cup championship for the United States. Naeher started and played every minute in goal for the U.S. and Krieger was a vital member off the bench during her third World Cup with the United States.
 
Tickets for Friday's NCAA Tournament game can be purchased prior to the match at the Penn State ticket office in the Bryce Jordan Center. Tickets can be purchased at the gates at Jeffrey Field beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, 11.15.
