Opens in a new window Clinic Info

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's lacrosse program is set to host a Winter Clinic for grades 8-12 on Saturday, January 11 in Holuba Hall.  The clinic will begin at 10:15 a.m. and finish at 7 p.m.

The clinic, led by Head Coach Missy Doherty, the Penn State coaching staff and players, is designed to provide a high-quality teaching opportunity and competition. This provides a great opportunity to prepare for the Spring season. The camp will focus on stick work, shooting techniques and defensive concepts. The clinic will also address the mental aspect of competition and how to become a better team leader.

Goalie instruction will be provided by Michael Molster, Penn State Assistant Coach and current England National Team Defensive Coach. He will be conducting specialized goalkeeping instruction.  Goalkeepers will get individualized attention with emphasis on technique, hand speed and footwork.  Drills and individual instruction for goalies will be provided to enhance the development of actual game experience with the mental aspects of being a goalkeeper.

Campers should bring their own lacrosse sticks, mouth guards and goggles. Turf shoes or cleats are recommended. Goalkeepers should bring their pads and helmet.
