ARLINGTON, Texas – The No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions (10-2, 7-2 Big Ten Conference) wrapped up the practice schedule with a silent walkthrough on Friday, the final workout before Saturday's clash with the No. 17 Memphis Tigers (12-1, 7-1 American Athletic Conference) in the 84th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

The 84th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic is Saturday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. CST on ESPN. Kickoff is slated for 11:05 a.m.

Friday's walkthrough put the final touches on the game plan for the Nittany Lions. The day began with Penn State Head Coach James Franklin joining Memphis Head Coach Ryan Silverfield at the Omni Hotel for the final Head Coaches' Press Conference.

"We've had a fantastic experience," said Franklin. "I've been pretty fortunate to coach in almost every single one of these bowl games, and I know everybody gets up at press conferences and thanks and says how appreciative they are. But I'm telling you, this has been first-class from the minute that we accepted this invitation and stepped off the plane.

"Every aspect, every detail has been first class. So I know that myself and the staff as well as our players truly appreciate this opportunity. It's been humbling, and I know how much hard work goes into it because we run major organizations and we know how much hard work goes into it."

Franklin then attended the Big Play Luncheon at the Hilton Anatole before joining the team at AT&T Stadium for practice. One final dinner will wrap up Friday before game day.

Leading into the two College Football Playoff semifinal broadcasts, this year's Classic is a part of the ESPN bowl lineup for the sixth straight year. Mark Jones and Dusty Dvoracek are set to the call the action from the booth with Olivia Dekker reporting from the sidelines.

ESPN Radio returns as the Classic's national radio partner for the eighth consecutive year with Brad Sham and Jordan Rodgers in the booth and Kris Budden on the sidelines to describe all the action from AT&T Stadium.
