COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) named the Penn State men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the 2019 fall semester on Wednesday.

A total of 762 programs from 480 institutions were honored, including the Nittany Lions' women's team's 3.49 grade point average and the men's team's 3.21 grade point average.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a GPA of 3.00 or higher over the fall semester. The women have been honored for 17 consecutive semesters while men have been honored following their last seven.

In addition, three members of the women's team and one from the men's team finished the fall 2019 semester with a 4.0 GPA.

All of the Big Ten swimming programs earned Scholar All-America recognition this past semester.

Individual CSCAA scholars will be announced after the spring 2020 semester along with another CSCAA team list.

Penn State will host Villanova for Senior Day in the McCoy Natatorium on Friday, January 31 at 4 p.m.
