SERIES HISTORY VS. THE RED FLASH
Penn State is 44-3 all-time against St. Francis and are currently riding a five-match win streak over the Red Flash into Tuesday's match.

The Nittany Lions swept SFU in their season series in 2019 with a 3-1 win in Loretto Jan. 21 and a 3-0 sweep March 26 at Rec Hall in their most recent meeting.

RECAP – SACRED HEART & HARVARD
The Nittany Lions picked up two more wins to remain undefeated in league play with a 3-2 win at Sacred Heart and a 3-0 sweep at Harvard.

Penn State started the trip slowly by dropping the first two sets at Sacred Heart but came roaring back behind Cal Fisher's career night to win 3-2. Penn State had 13 service aces in the match and hit .452 or better in the last three sets to win.

At Harvard on Saturday, the Nittany Lions continued where they left off at the end of the SHU match to come out with the straight-sets win. PSU did not allow a service ace and featured a balanced attack with all five starting hitters posting five or more kills.

NITTANY LION NOTES

  • Penn State remained in the top ten in both the AVCA Coaches Poll for the sixth-straight week, ranking tenth in this week's version after winning its pair of matches last weekend.
  • Sophomore Cal Fisher was named the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week after his stellar road weekend in New England. He had a career-best 23 kills to lead PSU in a reverse-sweep 3-2 win over Sacred Heart last Friday and then added 13 more kills to down Harvard 3-0.
  • In last Friday's match at Sacred Heart, Brett Wildman joined Cal Fisher with 22 kills as the first Nittany Lion pair to have 20+ kill performances in the same match since Chris Nugent (22) and Cal Mende (25) Jan. 7, 2017 vs. USC.
