UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State baseball and softball will be featured in at least six national broadcasts after the Big Ten announced its spring TV schedule Wednesday.
The Penn State baseball team will appear on television twice in April. The Nittany Lions will be featured on BTN on Sunday, April 12 at noon at Michigan State, and on ESPNU on Saturday, April 18 at 6 p.m. when they host NCAA runner-up Michigan in Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
The Penn State softball team is set to make three national television appearances on Big Ten Network. The Nittany Lions will first be featured on BTN in their home opener at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field on March 18 against in-state rival Pitt at 6 p.m. Penn State's conference doubleheader on the road at Ohio State will also air on BTN on Tuesday, April 14, starting at 4 p.m. The second game will air live approximately 30 minutes after conclusion of the first game. That same week BTN returns to Happy Valley on April 19 for Penn State's series finale against Rutgers at 3 p.m.
All other Nittany Lion home events will be streamed on BTN Plus.
