UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The 2019 Penn State Football poster was awarded a gold medal as best among all FBS posters by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Marketing (NACMA) on Wednesday.
The "Wear it with Pride" themed poster developed by Penn State and Pop Up was a poster that can be turned into a wearable helmet.
Initiated in 2003, the NACMA "Best Of" Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. In 2019-20 nearly 900 entries were submitted through the NACMA Community.
The winners were recognized during the 2020 NACMA Virtual Awards Ceremony.
