Menet Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State redshirt senior center Michal Menet has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, it was announced on Wednesday.

The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding center in NCAA Division I College Football. Since its inception, the award has raised over $4.5 million for the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which is committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Menet made 13 starts at center in 2019 and was a team captain. He has played in 37 career games, making 25 starts at center. A 2019 All-Big Ten honorable mention by the coaches and media, Menet earned the Dick Maginnis Memorial Award, recognizing an outstanding offensive lineman, at the team's awards banquet following the 2019 season.
