Penn State and Big Ten Announce Women’s Basketball Schedule

SCHEDULE

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. –
The Big Ten Conference unveiled the 2020-21 women's basketball schedule Monday afternoon, which features 20 regular-season conference contests.
 
Penn State tips off the 2020-21 season Wednesday, Nov. 25 with a 6 PM non-conference contest against Coppin State at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Lady Lions will also face St. Francis (Pa.) (Nov. 30 – 6 PM) and Rhode Island (Dec. 3 – Time TBA) in non-conference action inside the Bryce Jordan Center, and have the potential to add up to two more non-conference games within the coming weeks.

At this time and under current Big Ten guidance related to health and safety protocols, only a limited number of player and staff families will be permitted in attendance at the Bryce Jordan Center. 
 
Big Ten play tips off at home on Sunday, Dec. 20 when Purdue visits Happy Valley. Penn State will pay a visit to Michigan for its first conference road game on Dec. 23, before closing out 2020 at home against Maryland on Dec. 31.
 
The Lady Lions see their first action of 2021 when Penn State travels to Ohio State on Jan. 4. The Lady Lions will host Indiana (Jan. 7), Northwestern (Jan. 17) and Minnesota (Jan. 25) at the Bryce Jordan Center during the month of January. In addition to the Ohio State game on Jan. 4, Penn State will travel to Minnesota (Jan. 10), Rutgers (Jan. 21), Illinois (Jan. 28) and Purdue (Jan. 31) in the month of January.
 
February begins by hosting Nebraska at the Bryce Jordan Center on Feb. 4. The Lady Lions will also play host to Wisconsin (Feb. 7), Michigan State (Feb. 13), Ohio State (Feb. 24) and Rutgers (Feb. 28) in February. Penn State will travel to Indiana (Feb. 10), Iowa (Feb. 18) and Nebraska (Feb. 21) in February.
 
The regular-season finale is set for either Friday, March 5 or Saturday, March 6 when Penn State travels to Maryland.
 
The Big Ten Tournament is set for March 9-13 in Indianapolis.
 
Tip times and broadcast designations for all Big Ten games will be released at a later date.
